About the Abandoned Station

The Abandoned Station was built to be the kind of place people naturally return to — not because they have to, but because they want to.
Located on North Delaware Street in Indianapolis, The Abandoned Station is a neighborhood taproom rooted in craft, comfort, and community. From the moment you walk in, the goal is simple: create a space where good beer, good food, and good company come together without pretense.
At its core, The Abandoned Station proudly serves as an Outpost for Narrow Gauge Brewing Co., bringing some of the most respected and thoughtfully made craft beer from St. Louis to Indianapolis. The rotating tap list highlights Narrow Gauge’s hop-forward IPAs, clean lagers, rich stouts, and seasonal offerings — beers brewed with intention, balance, and a deep respect for the craft. Alongside Narrow Gauge, occasional guest taps keep the lineup fresh and give regulars something new to explore.

But beer is only part of the story.

The Abandoned Station pairs its tap list with stone-baked pizza and approachable comfort food — made to be shared, enjoyed casually, and paired naturally with what’s in your glass. House-made dough, familiar flavors, and rotating specials keep the menu simple without being boring. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick slice or settling in for a full meal, the food is designed to fit the moment — not compete with it.

This isn’t a bar built around trends or exclusivity. It’s a place designed to feel lived-in, relaxed, and welcoming. A place where conversations linger, where groups gather without rushing, and where both first-time visitors and longtime regulars feel equally at ease. TVs, music, and casual seating create an easy rhythm to the space, while the downstairs arcade — featuring pinball and classic games, — adds a layer of playfulness that invites people to stay just a little longer.
There’s an intentional lack of fuss here. No pressure to know everything about beer. No expectation to dress or act a certain way. Just quality offerings, friendly service, and a space that respects the idea that the best places are the ones that make you feel comfortable being yourself.
In a city full of options, The Abandoned Station stands out not by being louder — but by being steady, thoughtful, and genuine. It’s a place built for unwinding, connecting, and enjoying what’s right in front of you.

It’s About great beer, GOOD PEOPLE AND A GOOD TIME OUT.
